Meme Spreads Misinformation on Presidential Endorsements

A widely shared meme misrepresents Joe Biden’s endorsements. Biden hasn’t been endorsed by antifa or the Black Lives Matter organization, though BLM co-founders support him. And while President Donald Trump has been endorsed by the major law enforcement groups, Biden has received the backing of some law enforcement officials.

Trump retweeted this bogus graphic purporting to show the percentage of whites killed by blacks and other homicide data delineated by race. Almost every figure in the graphic is wrong.

Trump said that he did not personally check the statistics, but that the graphic came “from sources that are very credible.” False again. The source listed on the graphic – Crime Statistics Bureau – doesn’t exist.
